Above, below & up real close
Inspired by Tasmania’s remarkable island environment and special wildlife. My watercolour art captures and celebrates the intricate details in the world around us, inviting us to slow down, reconnect and take a closer look. Sometimes natures most breathtaking details are often the ones we almost miss.

I moved to Tasmania in 2011, prior to that I hadn’t really painted or drawn since I was a little person. Since picking up a paintbrush again, I have had the opportunity to share work in a series of exhibitions in Hobart. My first exhibition was Bird Nerd: Exploring Tasmania’s Avifauna, it was held at INKA Gallery in 2013. Subsequent exhibitions include the sell-out Once Upon a Branch (Wild Island Tasmania) and Small Island Big Sea (Wild Island Tasmania).
